Guwahati News Desk: A similar incident like Hojai and Cachar took place in Kharupetia, Darrang where a doctor named Dr Ahmed Ali was attacked by a patient at Afrin Medical Care on Sunday evening.
According to the sources, the patients was identified as Rahul Amin who attacked and assaulted the doctor on delay in getting treatment as Dr Ali was attending to other patients.
Dr Ali’s wife also assaulted by the Rahul while coming to save him.
Dr Ali then registered an FIR against Rahul Amin at Kharupetia Police Station.
According to the sources, people are angry about the incident as police could not arrest the accused till now.
