Guwahati News Desk: The government of Assam set up seven new forensic laboratories which will restrict drug peddlers from getting bail.
The decision was taken to construct forensic laboratories in the meeting with Superintendents of Police held in Kaziranga on Wednesday.
In addition, the State government is also planning to maximize Rehab centres in all the districts for the addicts says Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The announcement for the construction of rehab centres will be made in the next budget session to eliminated cattle smuggling in the State. The government will pass a new law that will declare transit of illegal smuggling of cattle.
