Guwahati News Desk: The Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio has launched the Nagaland COVID-19 Information Application at War Room at Nagaland Civil Secretariat in Kohima on Thursday.
CM Rio congratulated the Department of Information Technology and Communication department for its success in developing and launching the much-needed app for the Nagaland people.
The launch of Nagaland COVID-19 information will help out the citizens in gathering accurate information related to COVID-19 in the State.
The app was launched as innumerable misinformation and false speculations were spread across social media which leads to false information and hampers the State in fighting against the virus.
The newly launched app will be user friendly and would clear all the doubts among the public, CM Rio added.
The Nagaland COVID-19 Information App will also provide all information including the hospital bed status to the citizens.
All levels of contact information will also be shared in the app to assist citizens in fast mode during emergencies.
