Guwahati News Desk: Two kidnapping cases have been registered of two minors have been successfully solved by Guwahati Police on Tuesday.
Two cases of kidnapping were registered in Dispur Police Station on September 3 and the other in Khetri Police Station on September 5.
According to the reports, in both the kidnapping cases of the minors the accused seem to have lured the girls.
The victims in both these cases were minor girls. In both cases, the accused seem to have lured the girls.
According to the sources, based on human intelligence including technical support the Guwahati Police have traced the victims and the accused at Lanka in Hojai district. The police team immediately rushed to the location and rescued the victim minor girl as the accused who was identified as Md Amanuddin of 22-year-old who was apprehended and brought to Khetri Police Station as necessary legal steps will be taken.
In another case of kidnapping which was registered in Dispur Police Station, the victim was tracked by the Investigation Officer in a bus bound for Dhubri to Goalpara.
After the bus was traced, Chapar Police immediately intercepting the bus and tracing both the accused and the victim. The accused have been identified as Prashad Majhi of 30-year-old. The victim and accused were brought to Dispur Police Station for further course of legal action.
