Guwahati News Desk: ‘Dhing Express’ Hima Das joined as Deputy Superintendent of Police in the state on Friday.
The decision was made by the Government of Assam in a meeting with cabinets to appoint Hima as DSP.
Earlier, Hima became the first Indian woman sprinter to win a gold medal in any format of a global track event at the IAAF World U20 Championship.
