Guwahati News Desk: Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javedekar have announced the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for Superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday.
The announcement was made for his excellent contribution as an actor, producer, and screenwriter.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are managed by the Directorate of Film Festivals which is set up by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as it is one of the most prestigious awards for the people engaged with the film industry.
Rajnikanth has been working in the film industry for more than 4 decades and has earned a huge fan following globally.
