Guwahati News Desk: India sets a new record for the highest-ever 22.66 lakh COVID tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
From the last four days, consecutively 20 lakh tests being conducted across the nation for which the positivity rate declines to 12.45 percent.
In India, less than 3 lakh daily new COVID-19 positive was reported in the last six days.
In Assam, a total of 1,03,158 tests were conducted and reported to be highest on Friday which leads to a reduction of the positivity rate below 5.88 percent.
