Guwahati News Desk: Current Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Oommen Chandy on Thursday tested Covid positive.
Both the leaders were admitted to hospitals later.
CM Vijayan admitted at the Kozhikode Medical College is being monitored by a medical team; while Chandy is admitted at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
However, Vijayan had taken the first dose of covid vaccine; but Chandy hadnât.
The state is witnessing a significant spike in Covid-19 cases with 4,353 fresh cases and 18 casualties.
