Guwahati News Desk: A lady drug trafficker was successfully arrested by Guwahati Police from Kunjalata Lodge in Bhangagarh on Thursday.
The operation drive was conducted by Guwahati Police based on an intelligence report as successfully tracked a lady drug trafficker.
According to the report, the 45-year-old lady drug trafficker hails from Aizawl of Mizoram who came from Shillong of Meghalaya and successfully entered Guwahati City.
The intelligence traced her movement as she had book Kunjalata lodge for her illegal activities but she failed to rise above Guwahati Police.
Police officials seized a huge quantity of 8,500 Yaba (Meth) tablets from the hotel room. An FIR has been lodged against the accused as legal formalities are underway.
The power cops of Guwahati have broken down all the peddlersâ communication and stopped them in all possible ways across the city by launching a war against drugs.
